Deaf Community Services of San Diego, also known as DCS, is an agency that offers a range of education and advocacy services for individuals with hearing disabilities. It administers various adult literacy, counseling, career development and job placement programs. The agency offers adult literacy classes on basic communication skills, mathematics, computers, employment preparation, and educational and vocational assessment. Deaf Community Services of San Diego provides confidential counseling, case management, advocacy and outreach services for deaf individuals with HIV/AIDS. The agency is funded by the United Way, California State Department of Social Services, and Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).
