Serra Senior High School is affiliated with the San Diego Unified School District. The school serves students in grades nine through 12. Its academic curriculum includes English, mathematics, science, social studies and physical education. Additionally, the school offers classes in foreign languages, computer education, journalism, transportation technology, studio arts, music and business management. The school, located in San Diego, also offers various special education programs, such as integrated life skills, emotional disturbance, nonsevere specific learning disability and special programs for students with hearing disabilities. Serra Senior High School supports several extracurricular activities, such as music and dance concerts, bands, debates, theater, sports activities and field trips. Its student activities include academic league, step team, yearbook, band, archery and art clubs.
