I began my journey in medicine as a college student delivering babies in Kenya and then in medical school, taking care of young kids in Cambodia. Initially, I wanted to be an international medicine/public health physician, but my dreams took a different path as I started my own family. During my internal medicine residency, I fell in love with dermatology.

  Prior to joining Premier Aesthetic Dermatology, Kathy worked in allergy medicine, where she often treated patients with eczema. At Yale University, Kathy completed two rotations in dermatology and also received honors for her thesis project on skin cancer screenings. Before PA school, Kathy worked as a medical assistant in surgical, medical, and cosmetic dermatology for several years.
