I would like to mention the manager Glen, at the Stater Bros on the corner of Amargosa and Roy Rogers in Victorville, CA. I was having problems with my inability to walk correctly and there were no electric carts available. While at check out he went to the office to get a chair as I was having problems standing up. He walked out to the car with me, and helped me to my car to sit as he loaded the groceries for me. He even offered to carry my purse and take his arm to aid me as I approached the car seat. He was SO helpful, kind and above and beyond compassionate. I have never encountered a Manager such as him and want to thank him again and you for having such a wonderful employee at my local Stater Bros. He is someone that deserves positive recognition as a employee who really does care about his customers !!!
I want to thank an employee, Sean Warman, from store #171 on Hidden Valley Pkwy in Corona for helping me on 04/05/17. My car was damaged from metal debri scattered on the 91 fwy interchange to 15 N fwy. The metal debri flattened my tire and damaged a radiator hose leaving me stranded on the freeway. Sean Warman was on his way to work when he also got a flat tire from the debri along with a few other cars. He called AAA and had me towed home 58 miles to Hesperia. Thank you Sean Warman for your kindness and generosity. You rescued me from a bad situation because I had nobody to call for help.
I just want to say thank you to stater bros in canyon country for their fantastic prime tib dinner it was awsome thank you Nancy and Matthew for making our new year a good one i can't wait to order it again next year.
I have been shopping at Staters all my life, I have a large family and it's affordable. I never return products but this time I had to. My dog has cancer and I have to prepare her meals everday that consist of white rice and chicken. I can't take a chance on contaminated food for her because she has no immune sytem at this point. I bought a frozen whole chicken, and some other groceries, among them a five pound bag of white long grain stater brand rice. When I got home and poured the rice into my rice holder, I noticed that the rice at the bottom of the bag had water in it. against my better judgement I returned the bag and told them what happened. They made me feel like I was stealing their damn rice and was somed kind of criminal. They gave me a new bag but were mean spirited about it. I took the bag of rice home but I was really angry with the way I was treated. I always wash the rice before I cook it and I cook it throughly. I retrieved the rice I threw away from the trash and took the bag of new rice back to the store. I almost cried when i thanked them for making me feel like a criminal over a five pound bag of rice. The manager of your store has no people skills at all..... I will always shop at staters, I live a block away and gas is more valued than my pride. I do have the ability to chose who my checker is and who I deal with at the store. The checkers have been excellent and very friendly, the checker who dealt with me today has always tended to be in a bad mood, that's on her not me. If she doesn't like her job then she should seek employment that she does like. As for the manager, shame on him for acting so badly over a $2.99 bag of rice. I don't care about the money but I was concerned if someone had tampered with the bag before I bought it. I love stater bros and their employees but you have two bad apples that shouldn't be working with the public.
Gentlemen: For the past 5 years I have bought the pre cooked turkey dinner for Thanksgiving. It has always been delicious with many compliments from my guest. Yesterday was a nightmare. I again purchased the Jumbo turkey package. It was terrible! The gravy was the same color as the mashed potatoes. It was packaged in a flat tray and when heated was the consistency of oatmeal. Terrible. The stuffing was so dry we could have made sandwiches with it. The turkey and the mashed potatoes were edible. Something happened to the quality this year. Please investigate your supplier and hold the accountable for the poor quality.
