If your loved one lives here, please check on them. Someone could be harming them. Also if they are hospitalized, their property may be removed illeagaly by the manager!

The name of the place is now Laurel Senior Living. They still have the same manager Miss Whiney (oops Winnie). They have a very high theft rate and have had fire code citations in the past year. They don't fulfill their end of their contract with the residents. The conditions are often so bad here I would not recommend this place to anyone! (posted June 2010)

This could be a nice place to live if it were managed better and health & safety codes obeyed. However the owners don't seem to care if the manager turns the place into a flop house where everybody can do drugs and theft is an acceptable acctivity.

There is only one thing I can say that is good about this place - It's one of the cheapest.

I thought it was strange that I was not allowed to talk to the residents nor they to me when I checked this out. Now that I'm living here I have come to realize that it is because they know that few people are happy here. If poor management and bad food are what you like, you'll love it here.

Manager will listen to resident complaints about everything but do nothing about anything no matter how many people complain about the same things. I have heard everyone mention this problem in passing every time I visit my sister. Sincerely, E.S.

I did like this place until my visitors, home health nurse and therapist all began complaining of staff in loby and office being very rude. My nurse quit coming because of them. Also two of them witnessed what looked like abuse of a handicap lady!

I went there with my dad to check the place out. I wanted to be sure he moves into a safe and secure place. I was horrified to watch what looked like 3 employees bullying a handicaped person!

I went to see my sister there Thanksgiving day. The residents got about 4 bites of turkey each while Miss Winnie walked out the door with a whole turkey that was obviously prepared by the cook. Could it be another stolen turkey just like last year?

Manger is not reasonable and can be mean and vendictive!
