The Davis-Scott YMCA is a nonprofit organization that serves children, teenagers, senior citizens and families. Located in San Antonio, the organization provides sports activities, after-school care programs and summer day camps for children. Its after-school programs are licensed by the Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services. The Davis-Scott YMCA supports several sports activities, such as basketball, soccer and volleyball. The organization also provides individual and group swimming lessons and water aerobics classes for children, youths and adults. It is a part of the YMCA of Greater San Antonio, which serves more than 67,000 members and program participants. The parent organization offers various child care, camping and youth leadership programs.
