I love these pies, Usually are great and taste home made. I bought a chocolate pecan pie. It should be a pecan pie, with chocolate chips. Instead, it has been changed to a chocolate pie, with only a few pecans.I love chocolate, but this was not good in flavor, or texture. The crust was excellent. I will not order it again, but like the Pumpkin, and Apple. I hope they go back to the original recipe.
I don't know how this place stays in business, but perhaps we just went there at an odd time (3:00 Friday afternoon). Anyway, my husband and I went in as a couple and after I gave my order, the waiter just walked away as if my husband was invisible. We got that worked out and then it took 15 minutes to get 2 slices of pie. The coffee was self serve so we helped ourselves but had to ask that it be warmed up since it was almost cold. There were 2 people the counter, both need training on how to greet customers. My husband I agreed we will not go back even though the pie is very good. Perhaps if we buy next time we'll take it and go home and make our own coffee.

These guys have been here over 11 years making bagels the traditional way. There's nothing better around. The Pacific Coast Salmon is made with Lox and capers like I had it back home.
Great food and great service. Keeps me going back.
We went in to their new location on 12-31-05 for a breakfast and had a bad experience from start to finish. They over charged us, asked about 4 times during our wait, what kind of bagel we ordered. When we finally got our order after about 25 minutes, it was wrong. The bagel with butter was burned, the bagel sandwich had ham instead of turkey as the menu said and both were presented on the same plate for the two of us. Another lady that came in at the same time also had a problem with her order and she was very unhappy. We finally asked for our money back and left as did another couple. We were hoping this would be a good place in our neighborhood but unfortunately we have heard other neighbors say that they too have not had a good experience there.
