Tafolla Middle School is a learning center that is governed by the San Antonio Independent School District, which serves more than 54,000 students through various elementary, middle and high schools. The school provides English as a Second Language and special education programs. Its staff includes guidance counselors, paraprofessionals and nurses. Tafolla Middle School offers a variety of sports activities that includes football, baseball, basketball, tennis, golf, swimming, cross country, and track and field. The school also operates a student council and leadership club. It organizes several musical concerts and social events. Located in San Antonio, Tafolla Middle School additionally operates a parent-teacher association and publishes a monthly newsletter.
