SKC is a totally awesome company. I have dealt with them for 8 years in providing RN service hours to 3 of my medically fragile special needs children. All levels of staff have always presented professional, compassionate and helpful to me on every contact I've had with them. The Case Managers assigned to my children have been professional, knowledgeable, friendly and kind to me and "all" my children every contact, even though the other children were not under SKC caseload. Upon the death of each child the Case Managers and/or Administrator (Angela Pena) visited the house/funeral home/ funeral, a significant undertaking given this is 80 miles outside of San Antonio. Recently my foster child died, who was never serviced by SKC, but both nurse Jolene and Angela attended the funeral. Words cannot describe how much that meant to me. SKC does not just focus on the business and paperwork like other companies, they focus on the care of the child & family. Highly recommend them. Barbara D.
