  Shag the Salon has over 12 years of experience in Japanese Thermal Straightening and has performed hundreds of flawless treatments. When it comes to product and technique we only use the best- YUKO! Our Japanese thermal straightening system not only straightens curly or frizzy hair but also repairs and regenerates the hair. The conventional method only straightens hair, which damages hair to some degree and can even give hair an artificial stiff look. The Yuko System not only straightens but leaves your hair natural-looking with a healthy, shiny finish. After you have had your hair straightened your hair will move like naturally straight hair!

With such a big love for hair, Katie furthered her education by becoming a cosmetology instructor and has been working her hair magic for the last 6 years. She has a passion for color, from the traditional to the unique, as well as cuts, razor cuts, perms, styling, and up-dos. Katie’s skill and love for hair make her a great fit for Shag the Salon.
