"Rudy Cruz, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is an advanced practice nurse with a focus as a Family Nurse Practitioner, with board certification through the Texas Board of Nursing Advanced Practice Registered Nurses, 2017 to 2022, and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Family Nurse Practitioners, July 2017. He is also certified in Basic Life Support 2020 to 2022. At Conviva Westover Hills, he provides patient-focused primary care with a dedication to medical excellence. He brings over a decade of nursing experience, both as an RN leader administering direct patient care in hospital settings and providing primary patient care services including physical examinations, health assessments, preventative screenings, diagnoses, and the treatment of acute and chronic illnesses among an adult patient population. Mr. Cruz earned a Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi in Corpus Christi, Texas, in 2017 and received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi in 2009. He studied pre-nursing at the University Of Texas at San Antonio in San Antonio, Texas. A member of the Texas Nurse Practitioners Association and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, AANP, he enjoys educating and guiding patients on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle habits through education."
