I took my 1988 Mazda PU in for an oil change. It was 4:55 PM, ready to close on a Saturday. They told me that the engine was knocking so they would not change my oil.
The valves click sometimes, but the engine is not "knocking". The manager was adamant that he had the right not to service my vehicle. I think he just wanted to go home and didn't want to service my truck. I got the oil changed the following Monday at Walmart. No problems!
This manager needs to be trained or fired.

They don't know what they're doing. They claim they had their best mechanic looking at my vehicle. He told me it could be 1 of 3 things wrong with it, but wasn't sure, and then kept saying my computer was bad on my truck. I don't think a 1987 vehicle has a whole computer that would go out, then told me it would cost about $3,000.

It was very clear to me their so called "top mechanic" was clueless. I'm taking my vehicle to EJ Weaks & Sons who are honest, reasonable, and tell the truth. They would only charge a fraction of the cost, and give you a "free" estimate on what's wrong with it before charging you anything. I had to pay for 2 hours of Diagnostics for nothing. What a waste. I should of never taken it there. It's obvious they charge way too much, and don't know what they're doing!

My car's battery died at the inspection station across the street from this place and the owner was cool enough to jump my car and replace my battery with an excellent warranty. They even did an awesome job at cleaning up the battery acid and sealing the terminals!

Excellent Automotive Repair Center!

O'Brien's Automotive is a great shop. I brought my 2003 Toyota Camry there because of an engine noise thinking that it would be a very expensive repair. They discovered that it was a minor fix and did not charge me for anything I did not need. I will never go to another auto repair shop. They are trustworthy and know what they're doing.

Honest! Obrien's found my problem and fixed it without putting me in poor house.

Came here for first time. Really enjoyed company of owner Nanette, she made me feel right at home.

this company and its staff are very honest and i cant tell you how much that means to me. i went in to have a second opinion and they could have sold me but instead showed me that there was nothing wrong with my car. I cannot believe what the automotive world has become, so many dishonest people. consider yourself lucky if you deal with o'briens

after brake check told me i needed rear brakes and wheel cylinders, i went to obriens automotive for a second opinion. brake checks price was too high for me and i was trying to get a better price. well obriens showed me my rear brakes and there was no sign of leaking wheel cylinders nor did i need brake shoes. i am so angry with brake check. turned out that i only needed my rear brakes adjusted.

This place is great! I had vehicle trouble, my engine was dying intermittently. I had the vehicle diagnosed at another facility and felt I needed a second opinion. I took my car into O'Brien's Automotive and spoke with Nanette. She assured me she would diagnose and advise me on the problem. Nanette called me shortly after and had an estimate ready. The estimate was to correct the same repair the other facility found, but for half the cost!!!! I am so happy with the service and knowledge this facility represents. I noticed other customers were "return customers" and I'm sure I will return as well. Thank you.

first let me say, OMG, i cant say enough good things about these people. midas tried to sell me an egr valve over $600.00. when i went in to obriens the owner nanette was so kind and patient. she listened to all i had to say, got one of her mechanics to check my car at no charge because she wanted to give me a free 2nd opinon. they cleaned the egr valve for around $150.00 and my car is running like a dream now. she showed me there are still good guys out there. many many thanks to obriens automotive

took my car to O;Briens because my car kept dying. They were honest enough to tell me about a recall where this repair would be done at no charge to me. they could have sold me a repair and i wouldnt have know difference. thanks and I'll be back

i recently had extensive work performed on my eclipse. All seals, valve cover, and a engine mount were replaced along with brakes. yes, this set me back a little, but not as much as other shops! Nanette and all of the mechanics there were highly professional and took the time to listen and explain everything concerning my car. Nanette especially went the extra mile to have my valve cover issue fixed. O'Brien's Automotive has completely exceeded my expectations in every way. Straightforward, Honest, and Trustworthy, they have found a loyal customer not just with me, but all my friends and family!

O'Brien's was very courteous and honest. I feel like they didnt take advantage of me when the guys down the street did. So refreshing to find a place like this. Too many auto shops are trying to make a buck off of innocent car owners.

took my car to o'briens asked them to check a/c. they found a freon leak at a hose. they replaced it added freon and my car is cooling now. i was told down the street that i needed a complete a/c replacement over $900.00. oh my! cant believe it and oh my thank goodness for o'briens for being honest and doing the right thing.

O'Brien's has had my car for two weeks, already had me pouring over $1000 into the car, and STILL has no idea what's wrong with it.

Very helpful staff. Very reasonable prices. I went in for an electrical diagnostic because of a drain that was the battery. I told them what I thought it was and they were able to solve problem quickly so they only charged me half. It was my first time to take a vehicle there, and it was a very good first experience.
