Kathy Moore has been a practicing hypnotist, motivational speaker, and hypnosis educator in San Antonio since 1999. Although clients come to her with a wide range of physical, emotional, mental and spiritual issues, her specialities are working with anxious clients, smoking cessation, and surgery prep. She has been certifying hypnotists since 2006. In 2008 she began offering training in Stress Management and Pain Management to nurses and other healthcare professionals at University and VA Hospitals. She is now expanding her training to include physicians and social workers. The easiest way for clients to understand hypnosis, according to Kathy, is that it is a cross between computer reprogramming and coaching. It's not counseling or psychotherapy. It doesn't take months or years to see results typically. Hypnosis is a very practical, focused approach to making changes.
