Henry Metzger Middle School, a part of the Judson Independent School District, serves students in grades six through eight. The school coordinates English as a Second Language and gifted and talented education programs. Henry Metzger Middle School s curriculum includes math, English, science, reading, social studies, and computer and physical education. It implements the CHAMPs program, which is a classroom management system. The school also coordinates accelerated reader and math programs. In addition, Henry Metzger Middle School provides special education and guidance counseling services. Established in 1958, the Judson Independent School District operates several high, elementary and middle schools. The school district carries out its functions through technology, operations, business services and human resources departments.
