My daughter was a patient of Dr. Lopez's for several months. During this time, Dr. Lopez prescribed a different medication and/or dosage just about every time we saw her. Nothing seemed to be working and there were negative side effects, yet she never mentioned that it can take a month to know if a med is the right med and/or dosage and you should wait to see how it works long term before just changing it. I knew we were in trouble when Dr. Lopez looked at me and said, "What do you want (your daughter) to try next?" Wow; I've never had a doctor ask me for medical advice! She gave me so many choices on combinations and dosages--I was so confused. I knew then that there was a problem with the doctor, not the medications. Once we changed doctors, it took about 3 months to get her medications straightened out as far as the combinations and dosages, but my daughter is now doing much better on the right meds!
