Lone Star Bakery provides a variety of bakery items to multi-unit restaurant operators, in-store bakery-delis, bakery manufacturers and food service distributors throughout the United States. More modern techniques for freezing enables the company to preserve the flavor and freshness of its products, which allows the focus to shift toward frozen institutional-type baking products. Lone Star s product line includes fruit, meringue, cream and custom-made pies; ring, sheet and round layer cakes; muffins, cupcakes and brownies; buttermilk biscuits, sandwich, garlic and corn bread; cinnamon rolls, cinnamon-pecan sticky buns and coffee cakes; and ready-to-bake muffin and cookie doughs. Lone Star Bakery s baking facility is in China Grove, Texas, just outside of San Antonio. The company has been in business since 1889.
