      My first and only experience with ITB just now.. I was in the neighborhood and wanted to get a simple gold rope chain repaired. I walked in and the lady working inside had a very arrogant, almost rude, air about her. I felt like I was disturbing her. When I said I just needed a new lobster clasp, she arbitrarily started quoting "well it might be $30 or $40 or $50" etc (very unsure, I think she just wanted me to lose interest). I took my necklace back and walked out the door. That snooty, dismissive attitude of hers left a bad taste in my mouth. I would not recommend this place if you've never been. I called another jewelry store on the northside and the pleasant sales woman said they could solder a new clasp onto my chain for $12. And I just ordered a 10k clasp on ebay for $10. That works for me! I've lived in Alamo Heights my whole life, and based on the service I don't see this small establishment lasting very long. Over the years I've seen plenty of small businesses come and go
