I have seen Dr. Benavides for about a year and half. I agree with the other reviewer, in that he does not rush you during the visit. He takes his time and goes over all your issues.

I have seen Dr. Benavides for over 3 years. I like the fact that he takes his time with you and will sit there and review your record with you and answer all you questions regardless of how busy the office is. I have had a few problems with the staff, but over all they do a good job. I have seen some of the other Drs. but I prefer to see Dr Benavides.

The Doctor is great its just a shame that his office staff is rude! have no manners and they are definitely not professional!Needed a prior authorization and its taken me 1 week for it they've hung up on my insurance who was trying to make their job even easier!claiming they were left on hold which was a lie! She was sarcastic in telling me that i could pick up the form and fax it myself, but as i went down there it turns out she couldnt give it to me!? When she finally calls the insurance supposibly now they have everything they needed?when i have been talking them for days with my insurance saying they were waiting on the doctors office!I will never go back here again its a shame because the doctor was great but the ladies who work for him in the front are horrible!!I will warn my family and friends to never go here because of the service they lack!! Do not go to this doctor if you value your time or your money. The experience I had not only made me never want to go to Dr. Hernandez again, it also made me never want to go to a doctor again, period. For a routine physical, the doctor ordered several unnecessary tests and spent almost zero time with me. The office then ordered tests for me without discussion, leaving me very confused at all the calls from the radiology clinic. Additionally, when there was a problem with my insurance, they wouldn't write a letter to the insurance company telling them the tests they had ordered were medically necessary, leaving me with a $500 bill! This doctor exemplifies what is wrong with our current medical system. And if that weren't enough, I had to wait 3 hours on the first visit and more than an hour on the second. A truly horrendous experience.

Appts hard to get, long holds on phone, no feedback from doctors after being sent out for scans, no call back to tell you results, you call them and they cant find needed info or put you on hold for long periods.

Dr's were great BUT the staff were horrible.Friday I took my husband to this office we waited for 30 mins in the waiting room then it took another 1 hr for the dr to come in.The fml doctor told us & her assistant that they will set us up for an appt to see a specialist within a week.We were told to come in on Mon between 2-4 pm as a walk for a check up & waited for over 3 hrs & still was not called in. It was already Wed the following week &still have not heard back from them about the appt I called and was put on hold for over 10 mins then someone picked up asked what I need &told me she picked up wrong line & put me on hold again.Then same person picked up the line and asked me again what I need when I start explaining her that someone was supposed to set us up for appt & what was going on,she immediately interupted me while I'm in the middle of the sentence and told me "ma'am this is going to be a while so i have to call you back & we're working on our refferals right now. VERY RUDE
