RUN!!!!!! This school is unorganized the employees are RUDE and never have answers for you. the faculty members are often unprepared and not motivated to teach. 2 instructors did not show up when I had appts to meet with them after classes. Horrible experience so far.
I love this school. I can honestly say that if it werent for schools like Galen, I would not be a nurse now. I graduated LVN school with Galen in May 2010 and am currently an RN student with Galen. I do feel like Galen prepared me well for the NCLEX for my LVN. I passed the NCLEX with the min. amount of questions-85 & surpassed my expectation of furthering my eduation with the opprotunity to attend school for my RN. The teachers are great, issues are typically addressed in a timely fashion. I had no medical background!!! I went in with no foundation. Galen helped me gain confidence in myself with clinical experience and prepared me with the tools needed for out in the "real world". My only complaints with Galen is: the school is very expensive, but in my opinion.. it's totalllly worth it!.. and the library is wayyyy to small. We need more computers & space to keep up with their growth. Overall, I am proud to be a Galen graduate and a current student.
