Hire CW at your own peril. After submitting a claim in Aug 2022 for a botched plank flooring installation and having two independent flooring inspectors (one of which was hired by CW) both verify the substandard work, no one from the company has contacted me or (god forbid) shown up to actually inspect the issues themselves. Issues include no moisture testing, improper foundation leveling, improper installation of the plastic underlayment, improper gap allowance under walls/brick/door jams, and failure to meet manufacturer's minimum plank gap lengths - so basically everything that could go wrong with a floor installation. The house has been torn apart for over 6 months as we can't move furniture back onto the flooring since it must be removed to fix issues. The only good experience was my very helpful showroom assistant, but she left the company after the claim was filed...I don't blame her for jumping ship.
Horrible place, very unprofessional, especially a Salesman named Troy very bad attitude and also a liar can't believe they employ someone like him, also my flooring job was not done properly, and they didn't even finish the job prroperly,I would stay away from this Company.
If I could give this place negative stars, I would. We dropped $6K+ on wood floors. There were some minor installation flaws (poor workmanship) we wanted repaired. Their follow-up was *AWFUL*. I took time off - No one showed. They showed up two times after *much* difficulty scheduling their visit. They were late one time and couldn't finish the job. They showed up the second time and still couldn't finish the work. Additionally, they used THREE boxes of flooring that WE PAID FOR. They obviously never replaced it or repaid us for the use of it to effect repairs.
So I went by the store to talk to management in person, having not received any satisfaction from the service manager and salesman. They were closed, "soon to re-open under new ownership."
I'll be headed back once they re-open to complain. In the interim, I'm writing bad reviews everywhere I can, including complaining to Angie's List (where I found them), and the BBB. I will also be exploring legal action in small claims court.
My advice - Assuming the new owners keep the same crew of idiots working for them, stay away from this shoddy business.
Terrible sales rep named Cheryl. Not only neglected my order as if it were not important to her, she also lied to me multiple times about placing the order. After failure to get in touch with her by phone, I went to the store in person to pick up the order, only to be informed she did not actually place the order until that morning, which was the date that she said the tile would be available for pick up.... Her dishonesty really through off my renovation project, I will NEVER use this place again. If you are looking for flooring go somewhere else that actually cares about your business, and understands the meaning of service.
If I could leave zero stars I would. CW Floors redid our entire downstairs flooring. We loved working with Malinda when picking out our flooring but as soon as we put our deposit down, everything went south. After the original install, THREE more crews came out to try to fix what the original crew did wrong. We couldn't get the service manager (Brett) to call us back and Malinda never contacted us about our problems or tried to fix them. They left our house a disaster - wood glue all over the wood floors and baseboards, etc. My husband and I have spent multiple weekends cleaning up their mess. We undertand that things won't be perfect with huge projects like this but we assumed the company would care enough to make it right. They didn't. They didn't even return our phone calls. So 5 weeks after they started tearing up our floorswether are finished. (They said it would take less than 2 weeks start to finish.). We wish someone would have warned us about them before we spent A LOT of money with them. Horrible customer service from management and absolutely no concern for the inconvenience it's been to our whole family.

Actually I don't give Carpet World a 1 (one) star, but had to put something there. What should have been a day job turned into over 2 months and I still did not get a satisfactory job done by the 3 crews that they sent out. The crews did not speak English. Hard to communicate. I asked the salesman that I dealth with if they used people that spoke English and he said they did. I would not recommend Carpet World. They did give me my money back on some damage they did while trying to correct their errors!
I have just had all the floors in my 50 year old home replaced and or repaired by Carpet World. While most of the work involved wood, they also installed carpeting in some large areas. The repairs are truly magnificant and all our guests remark to their beauty! The new , of course is very beautiful as well.
Quality workmanship and a nice sales experiance. They were also less expensive and more personable than Home Depot for a similar product!!!
What a great experiance. We were undecided on the type of flooring to go with, until the salesperson explained the pro's and con's of it all. We went with Tile and the job was beautiful. We will go back! JG
