We could not have been more please with the service and quality of work received at this location. The work was completed quicker than we were promised, they arranged the rental car for us, and sent us daily updates on the progression of the work. I can't speak on value because we paid our deductible and the rest was handled through our insurance. But I never had to be a middle man between them and our insurance - they dealt with them directly. We definitely recommend Caliber Collision to any friends and family!
I had a Miata that had been hit with small shards of glass coming off a truck as I came through San Marcos and took it to 281Caliber Collision North for repairs with USAA. The windshield was already replaced. It took them about three plus weeks to re-paint the affected area and call me only to find it wasn't done right when I arrived. The mirrors were painted over unprepped and had bubbles in it and portions that were to be painted had never been touched. I had to leave it there another week. When I looked at the claim I found out they were continuing to up the charges to USAA as they took longer and longer to do the work when what needed to be done was clearly explained the first day. Interestingly I had repairs done at 281 Caliber Collision on San Pedro four years ago and they did an excellent job in way less time and it involved both body and paint work.

I really dont understand the other reviews, they kept me informed twice a week plus my car was finished before the due date.I also took my sons car in for a bumper repair on a monday the next day I was informed it was ready. The paint work was supperb it matched better then factory.Toyota wasnt even able to match the bumpers to the car from the factory,GREAT JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In my opinion you should take you business elsewhere - period. They take tooooo long. And the so-called service advisor doesn't know the status of your vehicle...it will be ready Friday....no, wait it will be ready on Monday...Oh wait it HASN"T BEEN PAINTED YET!!! Plenty of body shops in SA - pick any of them except Caliber Collision Center NORTH. ZERO STARS!!
