The Boy Scouts of America is a youth service organization that supports more than 250 local councils. It offers venturing and cub and boy scouting programs. The organization conducts several leisure activities, such as hiking, paddling and climbing. Its Venturing is a youth development program that includes skills development in the areas of adventure, sports, arts, hobbies and religious life. The Boy Scouts of America offers a cub scouting program for boys between the ages of 7 and 10. It provides day and resident camps, as well as council-organized family and pack overnight campouts.
