We have been driving past Bavarian Restaurant for 10 years until February this year. WOW what we were missing! The sour braten is to DIE for, the rueben is..the best thing EVER. I never knew I liked sour kraut til Horst (the owner) convinced me to try it. Something for everyone--from french fries to Chef Salad to any schnitzel plus the red cabbage (better halfs fave!!) and the sour kraut is amazing--they also have steaks, fried potatoes, green beans, corn and the BEST German Potato Salad--I will tell you it IS better HOT!!! They are only open Weds thru Sat for supper and Friday lunch...I asked and parties can reserve or take the whole restaurant on a day off......how fun!!! Its fun to have the waitresses speak German (especially if you do!) and to relax with a great wine, hot fresh bread and food that you know is good every time! I am surprised that its not much more than McDonalds when its tallied! Try it, we do every week!!
