Opened in 1998, Barbara Bush Middle School enrolls more than 1,000 students in grades six through eight. It offers academic programs in reading, art, English, mathematics and history. The school additionally offers various subjects, such as science, technology education, Spanish, and health and physical education. Barbara Bush Middle School has an athletics department that offers a variety of sports activities, including football, basketball, track and field, golf and tennis.
