Katie’s long journey to becoming an orthodontist began in high school when she took an aptitude test that pointed to dental hygiene. She attended the University of Minnesota where she obtained her bachelor’s degree (BS) in child psychology. Next came four years of dental school at the University of Minnesota where she graduated with a doctor of dental surgery (DDS). She was also honored with the Pierre Fauchard Certificate of Merit for outstanding and dedicated service to the dental profession.

Pleasant staff, timely for appointments. Very careful to explain any changes that are necessary so that my daughter can comprehend and take care of her braces herself.

Very friendly office. I have had both of my children treated with this doctor and am very pleased with the beautiful result they both acquired. I liked that Dr. Larsen personally treated my children at every visit. Very personable service.
