Fort Concho Elementary enrolls more than 320 students in kindergarten through grade five. It operates chess, yearbook, journalism and drama clubs. The school also has a library, computer laboratory, gymnasium and music room. Fort Concho Elementary has a staff of over 35 individuals. In addition, it conducts book fairs and teacher conferences. The school s extracurricular activities include guitar, art and piano. Fort Concho Elementary also organizes classes in art and offers food services. It is a part of the San Angelo Independent School District, which serves students in elementary, middle and high schools. The district s schools conduct various athletic tournaments, including baseball, basketball, football and swimming.
