General Info

As a saxophone teacher, Michael Bigelow brings knowledge both from his graduate studies at the University of Utah, where he studies jazz performance and composition, and from his performance experiences in the Mountain West, ranging from jazz to pop to polka. Michael has performed professionally with Voodoo Box, The Soulistics, The Sarah B Band, The B&B All-Stars, The Number Ones, The Wasatch Jazz Project big band, The Stratford Street Big Band, The Changing Lanes Experience, Cliff Notes, and The Hoodoo Voodoo Marching Band. In addition, Michael leads the Bigelow Jazz Combo and is currently writing, recording, and producing a demo of original material for his jazz-funk project, SLC-Funk.
