After hip replacement surgery my mom was taken to Aspen Ridge. I can't even begin to express my gratitude to all the staff. They treated my mom like she was family & to me that gave me a great peace of mind because after all, she is my mom - she is everything to me. I visited her everyday & soon became to know some of the staff on a first name bases. Despite my moms limitations, the physical therapists worked with her to help strengthen her upper/lower body because she had been in a wheelchair for months prior to surgery & lost a lot of her strength. She made tremendous progress. In fact, four weeks after surgery she was healing quicker than expected and was able to start therapy on her leg/hip and within two weeks thereafter, she was walking with a walker. I am grateful for Aspen Ridge for providing the outstanding care they did. Overall, it was beyond anything I had expected.

This center is clean, comfortable and has a kind staff (somewhat slow to respond to the call light) but it is not a good rehab center. They are very concerned about making the patients comfortable but not concerned about actually making progress in rehab or regaining strength and mobility. If comfort and progress conflict, comfort will win. Only use this center if you don't need to regain lost abilities.
