I walked into the showroom to inquire a refill for a propane tank, for a forklift. After being directed to go around back, I was greeted with a nod by the Airgas employee. Once filled he instructed me to come back in for payment. I asked the clerk about tanks, regarding lease or for sale. He said that they offer that service. The reason I asked him is because from the previous visit, I asked the same question to a different employee and his was response was "we don't sell tanks". That was his only response, not how could we help you, just "we don't sell tanks" and a blank look was all I got. I guess since I wasn't signed up for 50 refills a month I felt that I was not important for potential business. They seem set in their ways and not interested in single sales. To make matters more awkward, I got the bill for a 32lb refill and it was $15-20 more than previously. I simply asked had the price come up recently and I get "I guess so, do you want me to check?". I said no thank you, swiped my card and left.



On the other hand, there is an older gentlemen that works there, wears glasses with safety guards and is very friendly. He helped me out with a quick fix on the Hypotherm plasma cutter we use at work.
