I have taken my son to see Dr. Tryon off and on for years. When we first started, she helped diagnose him with ADHD and depression and got the teachers at his elementary school on board to help him. Now, he is about to graduate from high school. He doesn't see her very much anymore, maybe once or twice a year. But last week he told me, "Ma, I think I need to talk to Dr. Tryon. Will you call her?" It's like he knows that Dr. Tryon is a touchstone for him when difficult issues come up. I think this time it's about his girlfriend. I'm glad he knows there is someone out there whom he can talk to besides me (mom). I know he will get sound advice from her. I also know that I can make my own appointment with her to keep her in the loop if the need arises (she's helped ME many times over the years). She's been a great team member for my son and me.
