Located in Salinas, Calif., Adult Services provides mental health, medication support and case management services for individuals with chronic mental illnesses. It serves individuals with schizophrenia, bipolar disorders and atypical psychosis. The division works with a team of multi- and multi-cultural staff members who speak various languages that include Spanish, Polish, American Sign, Tagalog and Portuguese. Adult Services also provides housing, employment, education and dual diagnosis treatment services. It is a part of Behavioral Health Division, which is a division of the Monterey County Health Department that provides a range of mental health and adult services. The Monterey County Health Department is governed by Monterey County, Calif.
