And a hearty western welcome to The Bunkhouse! We're approximately 5 miles north of Salida, Colorado and are proud to say that. Take advantage of over 1100' of private fishing access. Stroll through the pasture to catch a glimpse of our wild neighbors, and don't be surprised to see deer with fawns in the spring, the red fox family down below, coyotes, rabbits, skunks, porcupines, an occasional badger and more. Because the Arkansas River is a migratory bird route, be prepared to see hundreds of colorful feathered friends, from the tiny Rufous Hummingbird to the Red-tailed Hawks and even the Bald Eagle during winter.
