Treating small kidney stones involves pain medication to make passing it easier. In more extreme cases, a doctor may try to use techniques to break the stone up or suggest surgery to remove it.

The contrast supply shortage will impact the timing of diagnostic imaging, resulting in delays. HRRMC's Family Birthing Center is one of the few birthing centers in the nation that offers physical therapy services to all of our mothers postpartum. Our PTs will advise you on gentle exercise to help you begin the healing process. They can also fit you for a binder if needed and provide you with education to decrease your risk of pain, incontinence and prolapse.
- Occupational TherapyPhysical and occupational therapy professionals are available for patients and work hand-in-hand with nursing staff and physicians. In addition, the Discharge Planning and Case Management staff work with our patients on post-discharge care and instructions.
