We went for lunch and I had the Roasted Beet Salad with chicken breast and fresh mozzarella. I was blown away that I could get a salad like this in Salem! And only $8.50! I have eaten at some very trendy restaurants in Maui, Los Angeles, Portland and Seatlle and this salad would easily command $18 or more anywhere. Fresh, real ingredients. We will definitely be eating here more often.

My dining experience was quite pleasant, and was comforted to find the atmosphere very calm, yet the intimate setting exuded a classiness i would be comfortable taking my clients, parents, friends, and dates into. there was a piano player, and an open kitchen which kept the resturaunt alive throughout the night.the waitstaff was very helpful and knowledgable about the food- which was excellent. my steak was remarkable-- didnt even need my butter knife, or any kind of knife.overall, i would come back again and i am recommending old europe inn to all my personal friends. one thing though, i was glad i made reservations-it made getting a seat no problem at all.
