Established in 1970, Northwest Human Services is a nonprofit agency that focuses on the comprehensive medical care, mental health and social needs of people. Located in Salem, Ore., the agency serves the residents of Marion, Polk and surrounding counties. It provides various services though its clinics and health care centers, including West Salem Medical Clinic, West Salem Dental Clinic, West Salem Mental Health and Connection, Total Health Community Clinic, Host Youth and Family Program, Transitional Living Program, as well as the Homeless Outreach and Advocacy Project. The organization accepts help from the public in the form of volunteering in medical records department, monetary donations and providing knowledge to patients on prescription medications.
