I guess it depends on what you want. We get all of our goat, rabbit, goose/chicken, alpaca food and bird seed there. Love that I go in and pay and it is placed in my vehicle within 5 minutes and I'm gone. Folks are very straight forward and efficient. If you want a hug to go with your service you probably need to go somewhere else.

Staff helpful, Expensive. Not a real farm store...cuz they don't have what I need for my farm animals and staff did not even know what I was talking about. I had to explain to them and of course, they did not have it. I would like to do business with them, but not able as indicated above.

I purchased three parvo vaccinations for my puppy and helped administer them by the seller. At six months fully vaccinated (I thought) she comes down with the parvo virus! Now she is suffering an indescribable sickness fighting for her life while costing 600.00 to 1000.00 for treatment. I was given a false sense of security for my pup and I will never forgive them for that. My one question is why are you selling this product and how many other dogs have to suffer or die because of your negligence ??? I am writing this review hoping as my vet recommends no one go anywhere else to vaccinate animals but to a vet. The only reason I gave them one star is because I had no choice to post this - Robert Mattis (Salem Oregon)

When I go into the store or just drive up..I can't help but wonder if they are going out of business..also the staff don't seem like they are really 'animal' people. On the positive side they are locally owned and I will continue to support that.

Staff is less then "happy to be there". Act like they are going out of their way to ring up your sale. Terrible hay and high priced.

I've been going to Champion Feed for years now. I buy my dog food there. They were not only very helpful to me but they know me and have it ready when they see me pull in the parking lot. They have also been very helpful when it comes to skin problems my dogs have had. I don't have "farm" animals so I cannot speak on that aspect of their business but either way, they are a great bunch of people.

I can't speak for others, but my experience has always been positive at Champion Feed. It is a little out of my way, but generally has what I need. Their blanket washing/mending service is handy, inexpensive and timely. I like shopping there and using their services. L. W. Norris

I usually get friendly service. I have not taken any perceived "attitude" personally, the few times I felt less-than-welcome. I supervised with them and just thought maybe they were depressed and stressed about their jobs and hoping they can maintain enough business to stay open.

I love champion feed. Their prices are reasonable and they offer discounts for quantity purchases. Their staff is always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I go there above any other feed store when at all possible even though it is out of my way most of the time. Their blanket repair service is also good.

I've gone in a series of times to pick up food and bedding for my chickens. The staff are not very helpful and the last time I went I got bad advice. I was told they don't sell Layena AND that scratch will be fine if I add oyster shell supplements. What kind of feed store doesn't sell Layena? I won't be going back there again...ever!

They have absolutely no selection, their prices are not competative, and the past few times I've been there I've recieved little to no help from anyone in the store, even when I was obviously having a hard time finding something. I would much prefer to drive the extra few miles to another tack store to avoid going there.

Champion feed is great! They have friendly people and are quick to find or attend to your needs. I get my feed here and will as long as I live in salem.
