Best local pizza. Quality ingredients makes the difference.

My husband and I frequent Balducci's as the only place he can get gluten and dairy free pizzas with a choice of toppings. We've brought many family and friends and have only rarely been disappointed (no place is perfect 100% of the time). We know many of the staff by name and love the warm atmosphere (not your typical pizza joint). We hope they are in business for many years to come! Thank you!

i.e., I wanted to take my girls 7 & 6 for a gluten free lunch. Was happy to see on their website how the staff is trained extensively and educated about Celiac. I even called you can never be too careful. After we all ate I went up to pack the food & another waitress said that's not gluten free. The owner was there & didn't even come over to us. My daughters were bellied over in pain for days.A local favorite, or highly recommended because

Love this place!! The pizza is amazing, but I am hooked on the rice dishes!!! Also a HUGE shout out for the healthy meals they are serving the lucky children of Birches Academy! The kids LOVE the food and the meals are healthy with fruit and/or veggies/salade with each meal.....even on pizza day each child gets a salade!! LOVE you guys!!

We are very particular about our pizza and pasta, and Balducci's knocks it out of the park. I really don't understand the bad reviews. Since it opened, I go in to pick dinner up for my family about every 2 weeks. Quality and service has never been a problem. If I ask for more or less of somthing, I am accommodated. ALWAYS. My 4 year old will ONLY eat this pizza.

I went to Balducci's and the first time everything was delicious. The next time I got pizza and and a sandwich and the sauce was so filled with oregano, nobody could eat their food. I told them about it, but all they said was that they use the same recipe every day. It may be the same recipe, but someone slipped with the oregano. They were not the least bit gracious and I will never return.

ordered a hawaaian pizza ,got home and the pizza crust was burnt, tasted very bland. they dont put enough sauce on the pizza..Also got an order of chicken wings. they were covered with so much rosemary i thought i was eating a pine tree.. the prices are also to high with small portions. After three tries at this place i give up trying to get a decent order.

Terrible service. Calzone was cold and saugy and wanted a refund and they told me I could'nt have one bc there was notghing wrong with the food and you are suppose to eat it with silverware and not with hands. They sent me away with nothing to compinsate for the food. Also chicken in the grilled chiocken salad was not grilled and tasted funny like cheap chicken.

What a gem this is a great change from all the other mom and pop places out there serving the same old food. Great flavor the wood fire thing is very cool... waits can be a little long but good food takes time and this place does not disappoint. service could use some work but overall a great little place look forward to going back for years to come.

I am not impressed w/ Balducci's. POOR POOR POOR service- waitstaff running around stumbling over each other- they need training and to get their act together- long wait time 45 minutes for 2 pizzas- that is ridiculous when pizzas take 10-12 minutes to cook... little overpriced... will not go back anytime soon.

The best pizza I had in a long time. Highly reccomended!!!

In these hard times, one would think that any place of business would do their BEST to keep their customers satisfied so they will come back. The best part of the meal was leaving the place. The salad was chunked iceberg lettuce with mooshy tomatoes,cukes and onions for $5.50. We can buy a head of lettuce for $1.00. Dressing is served on the side which is nice. An extra dressing will cost you though. Here is a hint guys, don't fill the cups so much and you can afford to give an extra without charging. Customers don't like to be nickel and dimed. The pizza was decent, not worth the price though.Try spreading the toppings around like you want to take pride in the food you serve. Don't just throw it on. I had a chicken BBQ pizza but only 4 of the slices actually had meat on them. The pizza crust is so thin that the toppings leak through. We gave you and try....the first and last. We run a small business here in town. We know what we are talking about. Help yourselves and take our advise.

Burnt burnt burnt pizza wow what a mistake going to balducci's.i will take the managers advice and not come back.

I stopped in for lunch, the staff is rude and the Pizza was lousy. Don't waste your time stopping in, save your money. Mark my words, this place will be out of business by January 2011!.

Overall okay...sauce is out of a can and too sweet. I'm more of a san marsano person. Crust very good and good service. More of a take-out place. NH has lousy pizza so this a cut above the normal local fare.

Just stopped in there today to get a quick slice of pizza. Thought it was a typical pizza shop. I was WRONG. I was so pleasantly surprised from everything to how clean it was, to how delicisous the pizza is. It was very clean, prices are outstanding and the staff was VERY nice. The owner really seems to know how to make his customers happy with both the customer service and the amazing food... can't wait to bring my folks there soon. Too bad they don't deliver to W Methuen.. :( If you are looking for good ITALIAN pizza this is the place to go... they are the Santarpio's of the North in my book.... My friend (female) and myself had lunch on 6/30/10 and got the roasted vegetable pizza & Caprese salad. Excellent. A 12 inch pizza had enuf for both of us plus leftovers. Salad was also big enuf for 2 plus. Very fresh ingriedents and pizza dough is excellent. Crispy and light. Highly recommend lunch or dinner. Looking forward to my next meal.
