i went out had 10 yds red mulch delivered they split the delivery in 2 spots and brought the rest over to my uncles house thanks for the extra good service.

i came out and looked at buying a pelllet stove shoped around and got the run around from a nh dealer bought my stove in salem at backyard depot 4 months ago and will be back for some bark mulch in the spring they were great.

i got 2 cords of wood and a patio there and we are very pleased.

This business quoted us $295 for a cord of "super-seasoned" hardwood. When it was delivered, we were charged $334. When I called to question the difference, the guy apologized, said he thought he had told me about the delivery charge the day before (he had not). He promised to get back to me about our delivery refund, never called back, ignored an email we sent, and then, when my fiancee called to follow-up with him 3 weeks later, he was verbally abusive to her, basically had a temper tantrum, and hung up the phone when she asked him to give her his name. Also, the wood is not super-seasoned. Most of it is green. I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, who I see (by their website) has already given his business an F rating (for five unanswered BBB complaints). Also, the two positive reviews on this site are identical. Nothing suspicious there, eh?

Please DO NOT do business with this guy. My experience was that he is an unprofessional bully. He has no regard for personal property, safety or building codes. Luckily I paid via credit card and got my $4200.00 back. Do yourself a favor and go to a reputable wood stove dealer. I was warned and wished I had listened.

I've dealt with backyard depot numerous times and I strongly disagree with the two other reviews. Very courteous and gave me free pellets for my stove, 10 bags. They have the best prices for mulch, stone and hot tubs around. Don't let one delivery scare you away from a reputable business whose always there for you.

Six weeks since the order, six or seven phone calls, each time promise to deliver tomorrow. Nothing. Very, very offensive.
