Thank you for thinking about enrolling your horse in the Greener Pastures Rescue Network. Greener Pastures Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer organization dedicated to finding good new homes and providing better lives for horses in Connecticut. We network through our data base, our website and related websites. The following is an outline of the steps we take. Please carefully review the notes on your horse for accuracy and, if possible, provide a current photo or two. We cannot take responsibility for horses placed without our adoption program. With the growing cost of band width and network storage services, we are forced to make a change to our old policy of listing rescue horses. We will be instituting a two tier policy for listing horses on our website as of September 1, 2006. Tier 1 listings will have a fee of $10 per month for use of the GPR Network page with the Horse photo/information and owner's phone number. This fee will not include any future services or oversight by our organization and the cost is a monthly fee due by the 20th of the month.
