General Info
Three Birds Tavern is located in a 150 year old farm house, one of the oldest buildings in St. Petersburg, with a small, quaint, indoor dining room, a large wrap-around porch under century oaks and two sprawling patios. Made with care and love from our scratch kitchen, we offer European pub classics, such as Scotch eggs, fish and fries and shepherd's pies, along with traditional American comfort food with a modern twist: burgers, fresh-cut fries, wings, ribs, sliders, soup, bread pudding, pork chops, chicken and waffles. You will also find modern food such as shishito peppers, pork belly, Wagyu hot dogs, and made-in-house sauces and dressings. We are home of Out of the Weeds, a line of gourmet dressings offered in hundreds of retail outlets throughout the southeast. Now offering brunch every Saturday and Sunday from 10 am until 3 pm. Family friendly, dog friendly, large group friendly.Three Birds Tavern is located in a 150 year old farm house, one of the oldest buildings in St. Petersburg, with a small, quaint, indoor dining room, a large wrap-around porch under century oaks and two sprawling patios. Give a "Tavern" a five star rating?!?! Ridiculous!!! Don't get me wrong; Three Birds isn't La Petite Tache Sur la Rive Gauche (the fictitious name of my idyllic caf franais), but ya gotta have TAVERNS, right? And Three Bird gets it right! The old menu was good; the new one is great. Service was great before, and now it is great and has additional knowledge and discipline. The kitchen must be a little small, and the time to get food sometimes would indicate there's some single-threading going on behind the scenes. But, believe me, it's worth waiting a few more minutes for! I've been there for lunch, dinner, after-hours (after sailing) meals, enjoyed their choice of musicians on their live music nights, and have been through most of the menu. EVERYTHING IS GOOD! Give this great little place a try. Reward this and other independent eateries who do a good job. At Three Birds Tavern you won't be disappointed.

I love Three Birds for meeting friends and business associates. The first thing you notice when you walk in the door is the warm cozy atmosphere. I also love outdoor dining and Three Birds has a large outdoor dining area on the wraparound porch and the garden patio. I love the variety of the menu as well, with everything from standard pub fare to more gourmet selections and daily specials. Everything I have tried has been wonderful! Not to be missed is the Cream of Crab soup and if you love onion rings, they have the lightest crispiest rings I have found anywhere! The owners have done a great job creating a unique pub dining experience that everyone can enjoy!

drove pass this place and was dying to try it, we ordered onion rings, (took forever ) (wasnt busy )waiter brought them and never came back until we were done, took 2 bites they were 3inches thick (couldnt even taste the onion) grease splattered as we bit into them, they were horrible!! told waiter he saod "oh" gave us the bill...9 dollars and change for orings and 2 teas and we didnt even eat them, didnt ask if he could get us anything else or im sorry , nothing..i guess he was absent during the customer service class, well lesson learned, we wont be back. i have been a serve in pinellas county for 15 plus years and thats not how you handle situations

Not so much a tavern as it is actually a last ditch effort by the owners to fool the public into thinking it's an actual restaurant. Tavern food is supposed to be GOOD!! This food is inconsistent, lacking originality and slow to get to the table. STAY AWAY!!
