Sunken Gardens, based at Saint Petersburg, Florida, is a 100-year old garden housing the region's oldest tropical plants and catering to Crescent Lake. It has demonstration gardens, cascading waterfalls, over 50,000 tropical flowers and plants. Sunken Gardens organizes horticultural programs, garden tours, and field trips. It has two rooms that host a number of special events. The rooms called the garden room and the classroom are available for receptions, retreats, luncheons, seminars, and private parties. Smaller functions are organized in the classroom that is perfect for 40 guests. The garden room overlooking the garden is open for 175 guests.
