Took my boat Mayday Marine for an idling issue, was called and told that my lower unit was leaking oil and the seals would need to be replaced (even though it had never leaked at all in my presents, somehow it leaked in their shop), had them replace the gaskets and do the impeller while they had it apart, got the boat back and took it out, it was idling too low and cutting off in neutral, so on their suggestion I meet them at a local boat ramp to have them adjust the idle a little higher, they showed up 1/2 hour late with no apologies and then gave me an attitude because my boat wasn't in the water yet (I didn't want to tie up the ramp waiting a half hour for them to get there.) Now its been a year, I changed my lower unit oil and there is water in the oil indicating a leak in the gasket I'm told. Did they even change the gasket that they charged me for? Also I had to fix the screw through the top of the shift rod after my boat got stuck in reverse as it was not re-installed correctly.

I have used Mayday Marine several times on both my boat and trailer and have found them to be both reliable and professional. Prices are fair. Repairs were done timely and correctly. Thanks, Mark
