Even though Mariner car wash is NEVER consistent on the several times I have been there I continued to go back because I'm realistic in the fact that nothing will always be perfect. However, after my most recent experience there I will NEVER take another step into that place again. What happened is when they returned my car to me in my back seat there were dirty napkins & straw wrappers. For the first time I decided to speak up & tell them that it looked as if they forgot to clean my back seat. A woman then walked over to assess the situation & said they purposely don't throw things away in case the customer has attachment. I expressed to her that claiming a customer could be attached to dirty napkins & straw wrappers is a lame excuse versus just being honest and admitting they forgot or did a bad job. Instead she walked away with a major attitude. I then decided to go inside to let them know about the situation & that was when I learned it was the OWNER's daughter named JENNIFER whom obviously thinks she can treat customers like that knowing she will still have a job the next day. So, now that I know this business is poorly owner-operated will be the reason I NEVER go back. Meanwhile, my daughters are happy I finally made this decision to not go back bc they were sick of sitting in their smelly waiting room.

I brought my car in for Express wash on July 3rd before a long weekend. Arrived at 5pm and left at 5:15. When I got out of my car only 3 blocks from there I noticed spots all over the passenger side. These spots looked like dent so it caught my attention quickly. These spots rubbed off and I quickly realized it was spots of wax. At 5:20 I called Mariner immediately and reported this problem. Because of the long weekend, I was not able to bring the car back until Monday. I asked to see the "manager" and spoke with two men claiming to be managers; one acknowledged my call from Thursday. After looking at the car, they asked if I had driven down 4th St because it was recently tarred. These spots obviously was not tar, they were clear. Then one said that I didn't get a wax wash so it couldn't be wax. I don't know where the wax came from, but I know it came from there. Excuse after excuse... I finally said I was not going to argue with them and left. They lost a long time customer. They don't stand behind their work and that's a shame. If the owner cares about his business and repeat customers, he needs to start with new management.
Just paid $100 for full service, the inside isn't fully vacuumed, the wipe down of the inside looks terrible armoral is not evenly wiped on, my tires were not done on my car. They didn't wipe down the doors or my center console. The owner argued with me after I complained about the job that was done on my vehicles. Worst service and they did a horroble job I will NEVER go back and I will make sure to spread what a horrible job they do on the "full" service. They definatly are over priced for the crappy job they do.

the owner and the manager are the biggest scam artist in the bay area i have wittnessed the manager john and a supervisor pedro stealing tips meant for the employees that worked on my car horrible dont put more money in these crooks pockets

Last weekend I visited this car wash, and had an absolutely horrible experience. After getting a full service wash/vacuum, I noticed they did shotty work and missed vacuuming entire areas near the back seats. It was upon this inspection that I noticed my rear floor mats were missing. Apparently while vacuuming out my car, an associate moved my rear floor mats into my trunk to get them out of the way, without telling anyone. Naturally, I thought they were misplaced or removed from the vehicle. The owner approached me, refused to help locate my mats, demanded $$ for the services and told me "we don't touch floor mats". He proceeded to try and take my keys from me and said "unless you pay, you're not leaving". Why would I pay if my floor mats appeared stolen, and have not been returned? I was forced to call the police and we found my mats in the trunk. The owner continued to be belligerent, refusing responsibility fo his associates actions. HORRIBLE - would not recommend to anyone.

Very disappointing. I paid $100. for a complete interior and exterior detail. They didn't even clean/vacuum the center console of dust/debris, let alone Armor All it. The windows still had spots and streaks. They also neglected to vacuum the back seats, behind the headrests in the back window and the trunk (which I had asked about prior to the service and was told that they would vacuum). I can't be sure that they even used any leather cleaning product on the seats. In addition, somehow during the three hours my car was there my front vanity plate went missing. They did find it and put it back on, but made no apologies. To sum up, there is nothing redeeming about them. Don't waste your money.
Excellent service and great price. Get through in roughly 10-15 minutes total. They have a website too - marinercarwash.com with coupons and you can buy gift certificates online. Service is friendly - they are even open when it rains and they sell gas too! I got my car totally detailed there and they did a fantastic job - I keep getting compliments on it!
