I have been a customer of this restaurant since 1978. They are my go to restaurant for breakfast and lunch. One of the few restaurants that give you a regular menu, lasagna, meatloaf,,baked chicken,frencch fries or healthy choices like lentil beans soup, black bean burrito, salads, etc(that are good) Staff is friendly & helpful and desserts are made by the cook & delicious! Try the homemade Danish or coffee cake or one of their many pies.Too bad they are't open for dinner. Betty Tauff

Breakfast and lunch, closed Sundays. Homemade pies, Big salads, and vegetarian items are examples of why this step above dinner is my favorite. All the servers have been there a long time and serve many local regulars. Seat your self on the booth side if there is room. They offer everything on the menu to go, I think. And I often get breakfast to go on Saturday Morning. I fact we just finished our Breakfast to go from The Kopper Kitchen and it was hot and good as usual!
