Azalea Middle School is affiliated with the Pinellas County School District. It enrolls more than 1,126 students in grades six through eight. It offers advanced placement courses in various subjects, such as history, biology, calculus, chemistry and computer science. It additionally offers courses in French, Spanish and German language and literature. It fine arts program offers band, choir, dance and theatre production classes. It has a parent organization that involves in fundraising events and supports various activities of the school. The athletic activities offered by the school include baseball, football, basketball, wrestling, softball, cheerleading and volleyball.
