Cleveland Junior High School offers educational services to students in grades seven through eight and is located in St. Paul, Minn. Its advanced-level classes include world languages, challenge science, debate, advanced strings, concert choir and concert band. It offers various special programs, including a gifted and talented pre-advanced placement program, schoolwide enrichment model program, exhibit design program, multicultural excellence program and educational talent search. Its extracurricular activities include destination imagination, debate, math team, history day, spelling bee, geography bee, junior high national math exam, after-school club and a variety of athletic teams. The school has high-tech computer labs with specialized computer programs. Its accelerated reader program provides opportunities for schoolwide daily reading. Its fresh force and peer mediation groups offer students community service opportunities. It offers intervention classes that provide additional help in math and reading.
