- We have seven friendly, talented, and professional male and female tattoo artists on staff. All of our artists are very accomplished in most aspects of tattooing, but everyone has special interests. Check out their portfolios to see whose work is right for you! When you come in for a tattoo, we’ll make sure you work with one of the artists who specializes in whatever you’re looking for. We guarantee most tattoos for life, even if your artist moves out of town; so, take our word for it that we will make it the best! We have three full time piercers on staff. Combined, our regular artists have over FORTY YEARS of experience! We are one of only three shops in the entire state with practicing members of the APP (Association of Professional Piercers). We only use the highest quality jewelry from industry-leading manufacturers. We will make sure that you are set up with the correct jewelry for your anatomy. We will also go over individualized aftercare for each piercing.

- As with tattooing and piercing, we strive to offer a selection of jewelry to meet varying tastes. If we do not currently stock what you desire, one of our counter folk would love to help make your dream a reality through a custom order. Please keep in mind that custom orders may take time to receive, depending on the amount of craftsmanship involved. The most simple design may take as little as two weeks, while a completely one-off piece may take longer.

CheapTRX opened in the summer of 1990; in 1992 we moved to South Grand. TRX offered piercing only a few months after the move in ’92, and TRX Tattoos has offered tattooing since 2003. To be perfectly honest, TRX Tattoo & Piercing is not the only place in St. Louis to go for a piercing or tattoo. There are lots of shops in the area, so why choose us? Lots of reasons actually! At TRX Tattoo and Piercing, we pride ourselves on our service. From the moment you step foot in the shop, we will work our hardest to get you exactly what it is that you are looking for– a quality tattoo or piercing. We don’t care who you are or where you come from; TRX Tattoo and Piercing strives to create an atmosphere where you can feel comfortable and not judged. We want our customers to feel relaxed, assured, and, most of all, excited to be in our shop. We have an artist or piercer who’s perfect for you. We also realize what a huge decision it is to get a tattoo or a piercing, so your happiness is important to us. We will sit with you one-on-one to help you find the artist who is best suited to the piece you want or a piercer who will talk with you about care and upkeep of a new piercing.
