Ritenour Middle School is a public school that enrolls more than 750 students. The school provides academic education to students in grades six through eight. The school s curriculum includes English, math, language arts, science, social studies, and foreign languages with a choice in French and Spanish. It also offers health and physical education and courses in family and consumer science. Additionally, the school organizes various extracurricular and enrichment activities, such as arts, music, band, drama and orchestra. Ritenour Middle School has a library and media center that provides a large collection of curriculum books, magazines, Internet search tools and referral sources. The middle school offers a parent-teacher organization, and after school and health and wellness programs. It offers various sports activities, including basketball, tennis, track and field, and has a gym and fitness center. It also offers course in computer technology and access to the Internet. The school is located in St. Louis and is a part of the Ritenour School District.
