Martha's Hands, located in Des Peres, Mo., has been providing a variety of health care services since 1997. The center employs registered nurses, nurse assistants, home health aides and homemakers to serve patients. It also provides pastoral care, and emotional and spiritual support services to patients through various mental stimulation activities, such as reading, music and puzzles. Martha's Hands offers various personal care and home-based services, including medication management, assistance with daily activities, patient transfers, meal preparation, laundry and housekeeping, assistance with the maintenance of personal hygiene and emergency services. The center also offers staffing services on a temporary as well as permanent basis. Its additional services include home care consulting, dietary services, financial management and dry cleaning services. Martha's Hands is a member of various organizations, including the National Association for Private Duty Home Care and the Better Business Bureau.
