Just Wooden Fences was founded in February of 1998 by Walt Thorngren using just a few tools and a small Ford Ranger pickup truck. Today, we have grown to a fully outfitted, seven employee, four truck, fence builder. According to Walt, “This is a perfectly sized fence company. I can closely watch every job, every day…and I do.” And, considering nearly every customer wishes to be on our reference list, the business appears to be doing it right. Walt, who has extensive background in building, engineering, and construction management, attributes the success of the business to his men, most of whom have been with him from practically the start. “My guys are the best. They are all excellent problem solvers, and our customers consistently tell me how courteous and thoughtful of their property they are.” Just Wooden Fences’ future plans are to continue to build wooden fences only, with improved quality and efficiency.
